Our Veterinary Team

We cultivate a relaxed comfortable atmosphere fostered by our veterinary team. As a single veterinarian practice, we have a family-sized team to assist you, your pet, and our doctor. When you come in, we will assist you in making your visit informative, your pet calm and comfortable, and facilitating a lifestyle for both of you that is happy and healthy. If there is any way we can help you, please ask.

Veterinary Technician: Sandy

Sandy, a veterinary technician, is the most experienced member of our team. She attended Northeast Illinois University. She works in all areas of the clinic including surgery, radiology, and laboratory testing. She consults with clients regarding results of laboratory tests and recommendations for care and treatment by Dr. Johnson. Sandy has also completed training to become a pet behavioral consultant, so if you have a question concerning behavioral problems at home, she is the one to ask. She has a cat named Meow, a dog named Zeus, and a Bouvier, Raven.

Veterinary Assistant: Sabrina

Our veterinary assistant, Sabrina, joined our team in the summer of 2006. She is extremely jovial and has a ready smile for all. She is bilingual and speaks Spanish. Be warned, do not try to bully your way past Sabrina! She recently has joined a football league and her charge from a three point stance has been dubbed "ferocious!" For a real treat, ask her to sing - she loves karaoke. Pictured here is her faithful dog Barkley. Often, you may see him keeping our Tiffany, our receptionist, company during the day.

Receptionist: Tiffany

Please welcome our new receptionist Tiffany. She joined our staff in the spring of 2008. She is a loving mom with two children at home. They love to pass their time bicycling and challenging one another on the basketball court. We hope Tiffany's ready smile will make you feel right at home.

Office Manager and Veterinary Assistant: Annette

Our office manager Annette has been with us for a long time. She has a degree in elementary education. She directs all financial affairs and maintains our non-veterinary inter-business relationships. She pulls double duty and also works as a veterinary assistant when and where needed.
